Theory

Spatial expressions help you describe where things are and give directions. Kifuliiru uses specific locative prefixes and prepositions.

Key Rules:

  • Use "mu" for inside/in, "ku" for on/at, "aha" for here/where
  • Direction markers indicate movement toward or away
  • "Hano" means here, "harya" means there
  • Locative noun classes modify nouns to indicate location

Examples:

Ndi mu nzuI am in the house

Ndi (I am) + mu (in) + nzu (house)

Gendera ku isokoGo to the market

Gendera (go) + ku (to/at) + isoko (market)
