Thousands & Beyond
Master large numbers from thousands to nonillions in Kifuliiru
Lesson overview
The Kifuliiru number system can express any number by combining units. For very large numbers (trillion and beyond), names can be written with or without the "I-" prefix (e.g., Itrilyoni or Trilyoni). These forms are the same for singular and plural.
Kihumbi (10³), Umulyoni (10⁶), Umulyari (10⁹), Itrilyoni (10¹²), Ikwadrilyoni (10¹⁵)...
Key rules
- Use "Kihumbi" for 1,000 and "Bihumbi" for multiple thousands
- Use "Umulyoni/Imilyoni" for millions, "Umulyari/Imilyari" for billions
- For trillion (10¹²) and beyond, use adapted names: Itrilyoni, Ikwadrilyoni, etc.
- The "I-" prefix is optional: Itrilyoni = Trilyoni, Ikwadrilyoni = Kwadrilyoni
- Large number names are the same for singular and plural
